Mountains

For the cause of Jesus Christ Our Prayer focus is always Christ centered and not man centered. For the Lord will to be done over our own and for more to come to salvation in Christ Jesus. A prayer for the Holy Spirit to move in mighty ways and for the purpose of Christ. It is all about Christ and his ability to changes our hearts , lives and our eternity. That great call for the winds of the Holy Spirit to bring in the Lords children. O Spirit of God Almighty, breathe on your church and the lost!!

There are 7 mountains that we can pray over. (Media, Churches/Families, Education, Government, Entertainment, Business, Health/Communities) As we pray there are many layers in which that we can pray for the Lord to move on our behalf. The prayers that we release is an outward expression of our love for humanity and our call to the one who has the power to changes things and to change hearts. A great expression of the desire for more to be part of the great family of Jesus Christ. We can have a great release in healing when we repent for our own sins as well as the sins of our state, nation and world wide prayers of repentance. We also pray thanksgiving and gratitude for what the Lord does on behalf of our petitions to the Lord . Being able to pray blessings on those who are in need of breakthrough, change and salvation is a place of tremendous giving of love and faith to those who hear as well as those touched by Jesus Christ. The fields are ripe for someone to show love, care, heartfelt concern and a way to peace and to truth. So many are hurting and our prayers are heard by the Lord. We just need to take up that little mustard seed of faith and put it into action. Find a prayer partner or prayer group and be apart of a beautiful expression of the heart For Jesus Christ.

We are living in times where the love of many wax cold and the impact of a prayer way across the world may be an answer of love the weary hearted are waiting for. So many of us have had mothers, aunts and grandmothers praying for them daily. Some of us have had fathers, uncles and grandfathers taking our names to the congregations so that they could pray over us with their church families. It is a pleasure to be able to bare our hearts for the voiceless, the innocent , the lost, the backslidden and the weak and weary. It is stirring up that great passion, love and care for humanity that Christ instilled in us as Christians when we received salvation in him. That great move in our heart and spirit when we realize just what Christ gave up for us to be covered, protected and loved by him. He is always our greatest teacher as well as our greatest deliverer and redeemer. The words he spoke on the Cross "Lord why have you forsaken me" was the Holy Spirit still at work in him as the Spirit was the breathe behind those words. That spirit was saying to the world, "I will stay with you to the very end and you will not be forsaken just as Christ was not forsaken" . I want to pray for others and pray for the Holy Spirit to be moving o their behalf for whatever the need may be. That great right now "Hebrews 11" faith in action moment. We believe that the Lord hears our prayers and answers prayers. lets believe that mountains can be moved in the lives of our brothers and sisters in need worldwide.

We are living in times where corruption, tyranny and down right spiritual wickedness is showing its ugly head. We have great authority and power in our tongue. We can speak life giving words or we can speak words that destroy and suppress. We can even choose not to use our voices at all. The Lord is currently working on me for this very same reason . I am starting to understand how we are all called in one way or another to use our voices. My prayer and hope is that we can all for Christ and his family and body take one step of faith at a time together. In a great anticipation for a mighty great move and outpouring from the Lord Jesus Christ to be shared worldwide. It is an great invitation to be a part of a great spiritual revolution for Christ Jesus and his name to be exalted!! I pray that we can all pray in humble, earnest hearts with pure intent for fellow man, even our enemies. The Lord was able to change the heart of Pharaoh as the Israelites fled to the Red Sea. That change of the hearts of the enemy may be a blessing to many even of the heart is hardened again. Thank you for everything that you all do for the body of Christ. There are so many of you that faithfully pray for our current events and i am truly thankful for the faithfulness and strength you all have.

Here are places to pray according to scripture. These places are an example of the testimonies of the word and what they did. I always like sharing the scripture because that is where the great truths we stand on are. Thank you Lord for your deep well of truth that lights our paths. Thank you for the nourishment to our very souls!

1 At the alters

Genesis 12:7-8 Establishing a special place

Gen12:7 And the Lord appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there built he an altar unto the Lord, who appeared unto him.

8 And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he built an altar unto the Lord, and called upon the name of the Lord.

2 Walking in the fields

Genesis 18 Abraham the intercessor

Gen 18: 23 And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?

24 Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?

25 That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

26 And the Lord said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.

27 And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but dust and ashes:

28 Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it.

29 And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty's sake.

30 And he said unto him, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there.

31 And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty's sake.

32 And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake.

33 And the Lord went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.

3 At the well

Genesis 24:12-14

Gen 24:12 And he said O Lord God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and shew kindness unto my master Abraham.

13 Behold, I stand here by the well of water; and the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water:

14 And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my master.

4 At wrestlings

Genesis 32:24-29

Gen 32:24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.

25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.

26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.

28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

29 And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.

5 On a talking donkey

Numbers 22:6

This chapter is about Israel children in distress and prayer, the donkey spoke.

6 Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail,

6 In chains bund to the mill

Judges 16:28-31

Judges 16:28 And Samson called unto the Lord, and said, O Lord God, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.

29 And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood, and on which it was borne up, of the one with his right hand, and of the other with his left.

30 And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life.

31 Then his brethren and all the house of his father came down, and took him, and brought him up, and buried him between Zorah and Eshtaol in the buryingplace of Manoah his father. And he judged Israel twenty years.

7 On an ash pile

Job 2:8 and 3:1

Job 2:8 And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes.

9 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.

10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

11 Now when Job's three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him.

12 And when they lifted up their eyes afar off, and knew him not, they lifted up their voice, and wept; and they rent every one his mantle, and sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven.

13 So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great.

3:1 After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.

8 IN the belly of a fish -

Jonah 2:1

9 in hell

Jonah 2:2 and Luke 16:19-31

Jonah 2:2 And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the Lord, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.

Luke 16:19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

10 Standing in a river

Luke 3:21-22

Luke 3:21 Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,

22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased

11 In a wilderness

Luke 5:15-16

Luke 5:14 And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

15 But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.

16 And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.

12 At a grave

John 11:40-43

John 11:40 Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also?

41 But rather give alms of such things as ye have; and, behold, all things are clean unto you.

42 But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

43 Woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets.

13 On a cross

Luke 23:34-46

Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

35 And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God. (GRAB YOUR BIBLES FOR VERSES 36-46)

14 In a dungeon

Acts 27:23-35

Acts 27:23 For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,

24 Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.

25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.

26 Howbeit we must be cast upon a certain island.

27 But when the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down in Adria, about midnight the shipmen deemed that they drew near to some country;

28 And sounded, and found it twenty fathoms: and when they had gone a little further, they sounded again, and found it fifteen fathoms.

29 Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day.

30 And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship,

31 Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.

32 Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.

33 And while the day was coming on, Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing.

34 Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you.

35 And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat.

15 In a shipwreck

Acts 27:23-35 **Same as the verses right above**

16 Under an alter -Rev. 6:9-11

Rev 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

17 Your darkest hour that may be your finest hour

Luke 22:36-46

Luke 22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.

38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

39 And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him.

40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.

41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,

42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

45 And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow,

46 And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.

We are to praying without ceasing, through every trial, tribulation, triumph and test. This is an open line of communication between us and the Lord our savoir. That intimate daily communication is the love language of our hearts that we bare to him, that naked heart that he will cloth with forgiveness, peace, praise, joy and gladness. He gives peace, comfort and trust is built in him. I hope that this has sparked something within you all to start something fresh in your prayer time with the Lord. i know that these verses helped me see things in a fresh way than before.
