Heavenly Father, in Your Son's name Jesus I come to the throne of grace and mercy thanking and praising You for our great nation. I thank you for the plan You gave to us through our forefathers by which to govern our nation and for the division of powers so that our destiny does not rest in the hands of one person. I'm praying and asking for those in authority lift up our Congress in the House of Representatives as well as the Senate. I pray that by Your power and anointing that our legislative body would make laws that are just according to Your Word in Proverbs 29 verse 14 and Proverbs 15 verse 22. Father, I ask You give them wisdom and knowledge to make decisions that would strength and prosper our nation. Jesus that they would make right decisions concerning the politics, the social welfare and the economics of this nation and that You would cause more by Your hand than by partisan or personal concerns. Again in Your precious Son's name Jesus!
