According to the Pfizer CEO (Albert Bourla) a 1/22 interview:
he was asked whether he sees booster shots being administered every four to five months on a regular basis.
“This will not be a good scenario,” Bourla said, “What I’m hoping (is) that we will have a vaccine that you will have to do once a year.”
“Once a year—it is easier to convince people to do it, it is easier for people to remember.
He noted that Pfizer is looking to file approval for a vaccine targeted toward the Omicron variant and could be able to mass produce it as soon as March
The CDC also released data on Jan. 19 that suggested that natural immunity was better than the protection from COVID-19 vaccines against the Delta virus variant. Specifically, hospitalization records from California showed that people who had not received a COVID-19 vaccine but did have a prior COVID-19 infection were less likely to be hospitalized, compared to those who were vaccinated but had not yet had a prior COVID-19 infection.
January 19, 2022 from Bloomberg: Preliminary data from an Israeli trial involving 154 health workers -- released Monday, just two weeks after that study began -- showed that a fourth dose of Pfizer’s shot didn’t prevent infection with omicron. Still, those in the trial had mild symptoms or none at all.
Beijing Blames Hamsters and Mail for New Virus Outbreak; Rex Lee Explains Olympic App Security Flaws NTD News) Around 2,000 hamsters were killed and foreign letters disinfected in China’s latest total “zero COVID” challenge. According to the reporter ppl in Hong Kong and China are making underground tunnels to aid in the escape of their pet hamsters. China is using their green, yellow and red Health Alert System identifying ppl who have verification of Neg testing. China is saying now that Hamsters and mail from Canada is responsible for a + Covid test in one person so all people are being closely monitored and mail is being sprayed as well as other processing mail areas. IT was long ago established that tactile transmission is the least likely way of transmission of the virus. As far as hamsters are concerned... it is doubtful, but then consideration must be given for the animal/human transmission since the outbreak. Maybe a pet hamster actually caught the virus from a human. I dont have any answers for this hamster thing.... yet! Could it be a distraction for China to use?
